Terms of Service.
Last updated 24 September 2026. Plain English, not a wall of legalese — read it, it's short.
Acceptance
By using this site, requesting a forecast, or reading an email it sends you, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
What neilAI actually is
neilAI is a personal project: a momentum-based price forecaster for a fixed list of stock tickers, built and run by one person. It computes a direction and a target price from recent price trend using public market data, tracks its own accuracy, and can email you a one-time forecast for a ticker you pick.
Not financial or investment advice
Nothing on this site — the forecasts, the accuracy score, the AI-written commentary in an email, or anything else here — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It's a personal project showing what a momentum formula predicts, nothing more.
Markets are unpredictable. Past accuracy — including the accuracy numbers shown on this site — does not predict future results, and this system's forecasts can be, and regularly are, wrong. Make your own decisions, do your own research, and if you want real financial advice, talk to a licensed financial advisor.
About the name "neilAI," honestly
The forecast number and direction (the part computed for every ticker) come from a fixed momentum formula run against public Yahoo Finance data — recent price trend, not a language model. Nothing about that number is generated by AI.
The one-time forecast email you can request below does add one AI-generated piece: a short written comment about the forecast, produced by a third-party AI language model from the momentum numbers, when that step is available (if it isn't, the email just skips it). That comment is AI-written, is not checked by a person before it's sent, and can sound more confident than it should. See the Privacy Policy for exactly which provider is involved.
This site is currently free, with no paid tier. If that changes, updated pricing and cancellation terms will be posted here before anything is charged.
Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to use this site. If you're under 18, get a parent or guardian's okay first.
Acceptable use
Use the forecast form honestly — don't submit fake or someone else's email address, and don't automate or script requests to get around the 1-free-alert-per-email limit. Don't try to scrape, overload, hack, or interfere with the site or the systems behind it.
Don't share sensitive info
Only enter your email and a ticker symbol — that's all the form asks for. Don't send passwords, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information to this site or in a reply to one of its emails; anything you choose to send anyway is at your own risk.
"As is," no warranty
This site, its forecasts, and its emails are provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranty of any kind — no promise of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the site owner is not liable for any damages, losses (including trading or investment losses), or other harm arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything it predicts or sends you. If liability is found anyway, it's capped at whatever you paid to use the site, which is nothing.
You cover us
If your use of this site causes a claim or cost against the site owner, you agree to cover it (indemnify and hold harmless), to the extent the law allows.
Emails and unsubscribing
If you request a forecast, you'll get one email at the time you chose. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link; using it cancels any pending forecasts for that address. See the Privacy Policy for who actually sends that email.
Third-party services
This site relies on outside services — a database, an email-delivery service, a market-data API, and (for the emailed commentary) a third-party AI provider. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their outages or mistakes. Full list in the Privacy Policy.
Disputes — arbitration, no class actions
If a disagreement about this site can't be resolved informally, it will be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as part of a class action or class arbitration. Either side can still take an individual claim to small-claims court instead, if it qualifies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state the site owner resides in, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Severability
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes
These terms can change at any time; the "last updated" date at the top will move when they do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
