Last updated 24 September 2026. What's actually collected, in plain English — not a template that doesn't match the site.

The short version

The only form on this site asks for your email, a ticker symbol, and a delivery time. That's what's stored. This site doesn't sell your data, doesn't run ad-tracking pixels, and doesn't ask for a password or payment info.

What's collected, and why

  • Email address — to send the forecast you requested, and to apply the 1-free-alert-per-7-days limit (so the record has to persist a little between visits, tied to your email).
  • Ticker symbol — to know which stock to forecast.
  • Delivery time you picked — to know when to send it.
  • Whether you've unsubscribed — so we stop emailing an address that asked to be left alone.

We don't ask this form for your name, a password, a phone number, a physical address, or any payment information.

Who else sees it (real third parties, not a generic list)

  • Supabase — the database that stores your email, ticker, and schedule.
  • Yahoo Finance's public market-data API — queried for each ticker's price history to compute the forecast. No personal data is sent there, only the ticker symbol.
  • NVIDIA (via their chat-completion API) — when this step is available, the ticker and the computed forecast numbers (direction, target price, momentum context) are sent to generate the short written comment included in your forecast email. Your email address and identity are not part of that request.
  • Brevo — the email-delivery service that actually sends your forecast email from our account.
  • Eve AI (the chat bubble on this site, if you use it) — whatever you type into that widget is sent to Eve AI's servers to generate a reply. It's a separate, independent chat tool from the forecast system.
  • Netlify — hosts this website and sees standard web-server logs (like any host).

Cookies and tracking

No ad-tracking pixels, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking scripts. Netlify's hosting may log basic connection info (like IP address) the way any web server does; that's not used to build an ad profile of you.

Unsubscribing (and what it actually does)

Every forecast email includes a working "stop emails" link. Clicking it cancels any forecasts still waiting to send for that address and marks it as unsubscribed, so it won't be emailed again unless you submit the form yourself with a new request.

Being honest about a gap: the emails don't currently include a physical mailing address in the footer, which full CAN-SPAM compliance calls for. That's a known gap the site owner is aware of and plans to close — it doesn't affect the unsubscribe link itself, which is real and works today.

Deleting your data

There's no self-serve "delete my account" button on this site today — being upfront about that rather than claiming one exists. To ask for your email, ticker history, and forecast records to be deleted, email neilsgupta2@gmail.com and it will be removed from the database by hand.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to use it (see the Terms of Service). If you believe someone under 13 has submitted their email here, contact us and it will be removed.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security, and this site is provided as-is (see the Terms).

Changes to this policy

This page can change as the site changes; the "last updated" date at the top will move when it does. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the homepage.
